On Tuesday dawn, dozens of soldiers invaded Burqin town, southwest of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, stormed and ransacked many homes, and abducted 19 Palestinians, including siblings and several former political prisoners.
Media sources said the soldiers invaded the town from several directions before storming and ransacking dozens of homes.
They added that the soldiers wired and detonated the main doors of several homes before invading them and occupying their rooftops to use as firing posts and monitoring towers.
The soldiers also hurled insults, interrogated and attacked many Palestinians in their homes, and detained four young men for a few hours at the Salem military base.
One of the abducted young men, Shadi Sami Ghneim, is the brother of Nour and Mohammad, who were among nine Palestinians, including one woman, Israeli soldiers killed during a massive invasion of Jenin on January 26.
Also Tuesday dawn, the soldiers killed Hamza Amjad Al-Ashqar, 17, after shooting him with a live round in the face, in Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
The nineteen Palestinians abducted on Tuesday dawn in Burqin are:
